Header

TYPE = NAME =

The
definition is required for the REFERENCE, OBJECT, and DELETE objects.

The value is the object type defined in the data dictionary. For example, the value might be 'contact' or 'case'.

The value is the name that other objects in the input file can use to reference this object. The name can be any text string. It is a unique identifier for the object in the input file only. It is not the object's database unique identifier, and it is not saved to the database. For example, when inserting a case row, if you enter the NAME as 'Case1', subsequent notes_log rows can use that name to relate to the case.
