Upgrading to Version 3.9

1. Install the latest version of the Dovetail SDK.
2. Add the following items to your database schema. They are documented in the agent_schema.sch file.
   • On table_alert, there is a new field: disp_from.
   • On table_alert, the x_active field was incorrectly defined as MANDATORY PREDEFINED. It has been modified to be marked as OPTIONAL USER_DEFINED.
   • New Table: OBJECT fc_login_monitor (4634)
   • New Relation on table_user: user2fc_login_monitor
3. Import the following data files into the system with Dataex or ArchiveManager:
   • agent_colors.dat (There is a new color for Left Console)
   • agent_basic_data.dat (There are new privileges for Business Calendars, Query Installed Parts, and for Employees)
4. Backup your global.asa and fc.env files.
5. Copy all of the files under the \pages directory to the system to install the updates and the new files included with this release.
6. Copy your backup fc.env file into the pages directory.
