The Mark Sites for Merge form is the control panel for the alias marking. With this form, a Dovetail Agent user can perform the following tasks:
Select candidate sites using attribute filtering. The user may filter the site candidates by site Id, name, address, city and state. A site will be filtered out if the site is already marked as a master or alias for another site or is marked as obsolete.
Mark candidate sites as a master or alias for a master site.
Unmark existing master or alias sites from a master.
Select a "master" site from the current list of master site candidates. Upon selection of a master site, any alias sites previously marked for that site will be listed.
The Mark Sites for Merge form can be launched from the Select Sites form. Should you wish to limit invocation of the alias marking and previewing, this can be done via the Merge Site privilege class.
