Converting Classic Flashes

Flashes used in Clarify can be upgraded to be used as Flashes Anywhere alerts.

To upgrade Clarify flash records

  1. To create the baseline source objects that Clarify supports, import the agent_alert_tables.dat file (located in the files directory).
  2. Modify convert_flashes.bat (located in the script directory): set the path to convert_flashes.js.
  3. Modify the Working Directory in convert_flashes.js to point to the correct folder for the Dovetail Agent application.
  4. Execute convert_flashes.bat from the command line.
