Quick Facts about ArchiveManager

• It inputs with a free-form ASCII file – all extra spaces, tabs, and new lines are ignored. The ArchiveManager parser handles any variance.
• It has its own syntax for each file type; however, it is also a complete superset of Dataex syntax, so that Dataex files continue to work.
• It supports two forms of comments in the data fields:
  • C style comments: All text between /* and */ is a comment.
  • C++ style comments: All text following a // to the end of line is a comment.

    Note: If either of the comment formats are included in a string (text within two double quotes), then the symbols are treated as part of the string.
