Upgrading to Version 3.8

1. Install the latest version of the Dovetail SDK.
2. Add the following items to your database schema. They are documented in the agent_schema.sch file.
   • 2 new views: fc_cm_contact and fc_cm_site
   • Flashes Anywhere functionality also requires the following:
     • 1 new view: alert_view
     • 2 new tables: alert_table and alert_to_other
     • 1 new field on table_alert: x_active
     • 1 new relation on table_alert: alert2alert_to_other
     • 1 new index on table_alert: alert.alert_ind
3. Import the following data files into your system with Dataex or ArchiveManager:
   • agent_basic_data.dat
   • agent_config.dat (new item: fc_dde_server config item)
4. Backup your global.asa and fc.env files.
5. Copy all of the files under the \pages directory to your system to install the updates and new files included with this release.
6. Copy your backup fc.env file into the pages directory.
