This version of Dovetail Agent now supports the ClearLogistics Order Operations functionality. This allows users to create, update, and perform workflow operations on Part Requests.
This version of Dovetail Agent now supports Full Text Search (FTS), thus allowing users to search and use the FTS indexes just as they could in the Clarify Classic Client. Refer to the FTS section of this document for more details.
Dovetail Agent now allows you to place attachments on any Clarify data table (including user-defined tables that you add) and to display the Attachments button on any page in Dovetail Agent. It also uses automatic sharing of attachments, meaning when you save an attachment, it will automatically be copied to a share directory for you, and it will be renamed appropriately. Refer to the Attachments Anywhere section of this document for more details.
With Dovetail Agent, you can show flashes on any Clarify data tables that have been defined as flash-capable via Dovetail Admin's Flash Tables or using Dovetail Software's Flashes Anywhere application. Flashes are a very useful feature in Clarify. They allow you to put important reminders on a variety of objects. These reminders can be displayed at key points in the Clarify workflow. Please refer to the Flashes Anywhere section of this document for more details.
Dovetail Agent now supports the ability to have different users (or groups of users) use different versions of the same web pages. This is called Resource Configuration support. You must install Resource Configuration support in FCFL for it to work in Dovetail Agent. Please see the Resource Configuration section for more information.
As part of the resource configuration changes, all of the files needed for the console have been moved from the pages directory to a new pages\console directory. This change has been made to allow you to have different versions of the console for different users.
The Queries in Dovetail Agent now allows the option of building complex queries. Query clauses can be grouped together and include both AND and OR operations. The Query Edit form has a few new buttons that build and verify the queries, and it shows the approximated SQL as construction takes place. There is a new privilege class that controls this option for different sets of users and a few new schema changes to make it all work.
Queries also now applies Data Restriction requirements to the results of its queries. When a query is executed, the appropriate Data Restriction filters are applied to the SQL that is being executed, and the data results shown are those that the user is allowed to see.
This version of Dovetail Agent also now allows you to easily add new queueable objects to your Clarify system. You can create them, perform workflow on them, view them in ROOM and on the console, and treat them as you would any other queuable object. Please see the Queueable Objects section of this document for more details.
The right-click context menus on the console have been enhanced - they now support Change Status and Change CR Status. This allows you to change the status of an item without opening it up first. In addition, using the multi-select option on the console, you can change the status of multiple items simultaneously.
