Dovetail Agent does not ship with predefined zip code data. This data can be inexpensively purchased from many different sources.
One company that Dovetail has used in the past for zip code data is zipinfo.com. They have good prices and support. Their product, ZIPLIST5, contains all of the data needed for the zip code feature in Dovetail Agent.
After the zip code data is purchased, import it into your system. If you purchased the product listed above, you can use the interface provided with Dovetail Agent. See the Load Zip Code Data section to find out how to use the interface. If you have purchased a different data source, you can edit and modify the supplied interface to load the data into your system.
