Dovetail Email Agent is Dovetail Software's email processing engine. It is a Windows Service that periodically checks a POP3 mailbox for new mail messages and processes them according to configurable rules. This allows employees and/or customers to perform operations against a Clarify™ database by simply sending an email.
Because Dovetail Email Agent uses the Dovetail SDK for Clarify to directly access the Clarify™ database, Dovetail Email Agent can support internationalized data (both incoming and outgoing) in Unicode and UTF-8 format (among others), thus making it fully internationalized.
