Search Capabilities

"AND" Search

To find results that include all search terms, add an uppercase AND between the terms.

Example: powerpoint AND macintosh

Automatic "AND" Search

Searching on both of two terms is the default behavior so technically the AND operator isn't required.

Example: powerpoint macintosh

"OR" Search

To find results that includes either of two search terms, add an uppercase OR between the terms.

Example: powerpoint OR keynote

Wildcard Searches

Single and multiple character wildcard searches within single terms are supported.

To perform a single character wildcard search use the "?" symbol. For example, to search for "text" or "test" you can use the search: te?t

To perform a multiple character wildcard search use the "*" symbol. For example, to search for test, tests or tester, you can use the search: test*

You can also use the wildcard searches in the middle of a term. For example, to search for test or text, you can use the search: te*t

You cannot specify a search that begins with the "*" symbol, or the following combination: "?*"

Specific Object Search

You can search within one specific object type by entering the search terms you're looking for, followed by the word "domain", a colon, then the object type. Examples of objects include case, solution, and bug.

For example, here's how you'd find solutions on powerpoint:
domain:solution powerpoint

id:123

Search the site property on a Case:
