Dovetail SchemaEditor users will most often need to edit the .SchemaEditor file. SchemaEditor files are used to define the configuration for a particular execution of Dovetail SchemaEditor, including database connection information, and schema file definition. Refer to the SchemaEditor files section for more details.
Additional application configuration parameters for Dovetail SchemaEditor are specified in the Dovetail SchemaEditor.exe.config found in the Dovetail SchemaEditor install directory. The main reason you would want to update the <SchemApp> application configuration file would be to customize logging. Dovetail SchemaEditor uses the log4Net logging framework to provide detailed information about Dovetail SchemaEditor's actions. You can find the log4Net configuration in the log4Net section of the SchemaEditor.exe.config file.
