Wipbin and Queue Totals Issue

One item does not work out of the box with data restriction in Dovetail Agent. The Wipbin and Queue totals on the console show the total of all items in a Wipbin/Queue, not the restricted total, because Dovetail Agent uses a stored procedure for performance. The stored procedure does not have your restrictions coded into it. Because it's not using fcGeneric, the restrictions are not automatically applied.

Two solutions can solve this problem:

• Use the fc_wip_q_counts configuration item to turn off the totals that are displayed.
• OR Modify the stored procedure (oracle_fc_wip_q_counts.sql, mssql_fc_wip_q_counts.sql, sybase_fc_wip_q_counts.sql, depending on your database system) to use restrictions. For more information about this process, please contact Dovetail Software.
