Business Rules

The following business rules are used as part of the Dialogue and Communication Workflow.

Deliver Email Communication Business Rule

Name: Deliver Email Communication

Object: Communication

Start on: Delivery Pending

Cancel On: Delivery Confirmed

Conditions:

  1. Direction = 2 (Outbound)
  2. Delivery Status = 1 (Pending)
  3. Channel Type Id = 1 (Email)

Action 1:

Start immediately from event creation using elapsed time

Repeat: every hour for 8 hours

Command Line: "C:\Program Files\Dovetail Software\Carrier\Outgoing-Communication-Publisher\PublishOutgoingCommunication.exe" [Database ID]

Action 2:

Start 8 hours from event creation using elapsed time

Repeat: Do not repeat

Command Line: c:\path\EmailDeliveryFailed.bat [Database ID]
