Password Reset

Dovetail Mobile Agent allows users who have forgotten their password to reset it, in an automated process, without the need for an administrator to reset it manually.

  1. From the login page, click on the Forgot your password? link.
  2. Enter either a login name or the email address of the user.
  3. An email will be sent to the user which contains a link that will take them to a reset password page. The email will be sent to the email address on the user/employee record in the database.
  4. The user will be prompted to enter and confirm a new password.
  5. The user will then be automatically logged in.
