Unpicking a Part

Unpicking a part removes the lock placed on a part during the Pick action, enabling any user to select the part when working on a part request. Users may not be able to unpick a specific part, depending on how the logistics transitions have been defined.

Once picked, the Pick column at the top of the form and the Picked By column in the bottom grid will be updated. The quantity columns in the Selected Location's Inventory Parts grid are not changed.

Note: Once an order has been fulfilled, the part(s) cannot be unpicked. The same is true if the part request has been closed.

To unpick a part

1. From the Part Request Order Processing form, choose the Pick tab.
2. In the Selected Location's Inventory Parts grid, select the part to unpick.
3. To unpick the selected part, click the Unpick button.
