Once the order has been fulfilled, use Dovetail Logistics to ship the order. This action enters the shipping information in the database and indicates to the system that the order has been shipped. When a Ship action is performed, fulfillments are grouped together for shipment. An analogy can be made to a box in which the various parts are placed together for shipment.
It is not necessary to return to the part request detail form before performing the ship action. To perform the ship action immediately after fulfilling the part request, click the Ship tab after fulfilling the order.
