Terminology Changes

• fcQuery has been renamed to 'Queries'.

Enhancements

• Added Password Reset functionality. From the login page, a user can request to reset their password. Dovetail Agent will send an e-mail to the user. The e-mail will contain instructions to reset the user's password, and provide a link back to the password reset page in Dovetail Agent.
• On the Case page, the Case Type, Priority, and Severity have been moved from the History tab to the top section of the Case form.
• On the Case page, the case history tab now only shows the dynamically-built case history, not the static history from the case record. This history area also shows the user that performed each action, and is chronologically sortable. Each note also shows how long ago the action occurred.
• On the Account page, added the ability to add and remove sites from an account with an Account Site Role.
• Query Converter - Provides the ability to migrate ClarifyCRM queries to Queries objects.
• Queries objects now allow to create queries without any filters (clauses).
• Queries objects now allow to modify the list of clauses and test-run the query before saving it.
• Queries objects now provide more convenient ways to manipulate the clause list.
• Export Data function for Queries objects has been modified to eliminate the use of ActiveX controls for the purpose of generating of output files.

Bug Fixes

• Console - Recently Open Objects would occasionally show the same object multiple times. This feature has been improved so the detection of objects in the list is more reliable.
• Logout - After logging out of Dovetail Agent, it was possible to use the browser Back button and see what was previously displayed on the console without having to log back into Dovetail Agent. This situation has been corrected.
• Queries objects will not allow FULL OUTER JOINs for Oracle database version 8.x because they are not natively supported in Oracle v.8.x.
• SQL generation errors for OUTER JOINs and MTM relations have been fixed for Queries objects.

Upgrading to Version 4.2

1. Install the latest version of the Dovetail SDK.
2. Add the following items to your database schema. They are documented in the agent_schema.sch file, found in the \schema directory.
   • New Table: OBJECT password_reset(4304)
   • New Relation on table_employee: employee2email_log
   • New Relation on table_email_log: email_log2employee
3. To install the updates and the new files included with this release, copy all of the files under the \pages directory to the system.
4. Merge in any of your customizations with the new baseline pages.
