Enhancements

• Added new Phone/Email tab to contact form, which allows for multiple phone numbers and email addresses for contacts.
• Added extensive server-side privilege verification throughout Dovetail Agent to ensure pages can only be processed by authorized users.
• Renamed the Profile page to Settings, and it will now display in the console instead of a new window.
• Added ability for each user to customize the columns shown on the main console for wipbins and queues. Columns can be reordered, included or excluded, and column titles can be changed. The changes are saved independently for each user.
• Added option to include DISTINCT keyword in a SELECT statement to remove duplicates returned by a query.
• For additional security reasons, when a user changes their password, they are now required to enter their old password (in addition to their new password).
• For 64-bit systems, Dovetail Agent can now be run in 64-bit mode (requires 64-bit Dovetail SDK).
• The aspSmartUpload component for file uploads and EEO has been replaced with a new ASP File Upload Component, adding support for 64-bit systems, and improving file upload speed and capabilities.
• Simplified and enhanced the Search Tips page
• Searching using a date property now allows for easily finding items where the timestamp is within the last X days, or today.
• Updated the methodology for recent objects to keep the table updated asynchronously, and the order is based on a new timestamp column.
• The main console (wipbin and queue listings) have been enhanced and simplified.
  • The right-click context menus have been removed. They have been replaced with an Actions button at the top of the page. This Actions button will perform workflow, log, and other actions on all of the items selected in the console.
  • The drag handle is more clearly defined (for drag-and-drop operations).
  • The row hover color has been removed, as it could obscure whether a row was hovered over or selected, introducing confusion. Now, the row is only colored if it is selected.
  • Clicking anywhere on the row will now open that item. Previously, clicking in some parts of the row would open it, and clicking other parts would select the row.
  • Row selection is now controlled only by the checkbox on each row, or with teh Select/Deselect All checkbox in the header.
  • The header now shows the number of items displayed, along with the total number of items (i.e. 1-20 of 100).

Bug Fixes

• Queries - fixed issue where a query using the "on" clause would cause an error when being saved, if using MSSQL.
• Console - fixed an issue where the main console would completely reload (instead of a single row) if a wipbin or queue had not been (re)selected after login.
• Fixed an issue where the Close dialog box was not working for part request details.

Upgrading to Version 4.5

1. Install the latest version of the Dovetail SDK (version 3.0 or higher)
2. To take advantage of search enhancements, install the latest version of Dovetail Seeker (version 2.0 or higher)
3. Add the following item(s) to your database schema. They are documented in the schema file, found in the \schema directory.
   • New Table: console_columns
   • New Column: heartbeat on the fc_login_monitor table
   • New Column: server on the fc_login_monitor table
   • New Column: is_distinct on the ce_query table
   • New Column: last_accessed on the recent_obj table.
4. Import the following data files into your system with Dataex or ArchiveManager:
   • phone_email_types.dat (phone and email types)
5. To install the updates and the new files included with this release, copy all of the files under the \pages directory to the system.
6. Merge in any of your customizations with the new baseline pages.
7. Install the ASP File Upload component
