Version 2.0 of Dovetail Agent has many new features and enhancements. If you already have an earlier version of Dovetail Agent installed, it is highly recommended that you install this version as a new installation.
Dovetail Agent is now based on Dovetail's FCFL object framework (not on eBusiness Framework as in the prior release). This enables many new and exciting features. Among the most important are:

Availability of over 200 APIs for virtually any ClearSupport or ClearQuality action. These allow you to easily and quickly add new function to your forms.
Full solution functionality has been added.
The added fcQuality application allows you to perform both ClearSupport and ClearQuality functions via the web.
An enhanced console, which includes:
The addition of Find CR by ID.
Drag and drop for dispatch, accept, reject/forward, and move workflow operations.
A new treeview control for wipbins and queues.
The Dovetail Software application ROOM (Recently Opened Object Monitor).
Summaries can now be printed from the thin client for cases, subcases, solutions and CRs.
The caching algorithm has been improved.
You can now use Clarify's encrypted passwords. You now use the same password for the Classic Client and for Dovetail Agent.
Auto-Destination Rules are now supported.
There are full Time Zone conversion capabilities.
Cases now have Quick Close capability.
You can sort objects numerically in wipbins and queues.
