Dovetail Agent tracks time zones and automatically converts timestamps between time zones.
Because Dovetail Agent automatically uses the default time zone from the Clarify database, the master_time_zone does not have to be set.
The first time that a user logs in to the system, he or she chooses a time zone from a dropdown list. After that, all dates and times will be automatically converted: the dates and times that are displayed and entered will be in the user's time zone, and all dates and times in the database will be stored in the server's time zone.
