Customizable Colors

The colors associated with many items in Dovetail Agent are customizable, including grids, menus, queries, and other items.

Most grid controls in Dovetail Agent do no require any code modifications to add new colors, however if a grid is not driven off of a user-defined list, additional code is needed to support colors for those new row types. For assistance with this process, please contact Dovetail Software.

Note: For more information on how to modify individual profile colors, go to the Profile Colors section.

To set system default colors during setup

1. Prior to importing the agent_colors.dat file during the Dovetail Agent setup, enter the new colors in this file.
2. Save and then import the file.

To modify system default colors using Dovetail Admin

1. Login to Dovetail Admin, and go to the Colors page in the Dovetail Features section.
2. From here, colors can be added, updated, and/or deleted.
